Il Mercatino, The Italian Charity Day at Sandy Bay
The Italian Day at Sandy Bay’ is the biggest charity event organized yearly by the Italian Women’s Association (IWA). This popular happening raises significant funds that are entirely donated to the ‘Duchess of Kent Children’s Hospital’ and other selected local charities. The biggest attractions of the event are the Bazaar, with more than 90 stalls selling branded clothing, accessories, shoes, toys, watches, etc. and the ‘Gourmet Corner’, that offers tasty Italian ready dishes and snacks, sponsored by the most famous and most important Italian restaurants and food and beverage companies. This event is a good occasion to get together with family and friends while enjoying Christmas shopping and chilling out “The Italian way”, all for a good cause.

Celebrate Swedish Winter at Tsim Sha Tsui. Meet Santa Claus, drink Glögg and eat gingerbread cookies, let your children take part in book reading sessions where they will listen to Swedish books like Pippi Longstocking etc.
All the way from Sweden the real Santa Claus is coming with his helper. Come by and meet him and take a photo. The first 100 children who visit him will also get a Christmas gift.
