With Hong Kong’s social distancing restrictions relaxing a little, many places will resume operations from Friday 18 September. We’ve rounded up our top family activities in Hong Kong 2020 for you to enjoy over the weekend.
Jump for joy at Ryze
One of our favourite activities in Hong Kong, Ryze trampoline park has finally been able to open again. Opening hours are 9am-9pm over the weekend. Jumpers will be required to wear masks, but we’re used to that by now!

Have an epic time at EpicLand
Purchase an online ticket to visit Discovery Bay’s ultimate playroom where children can climb, bounce, slide, play laser tag and generally have an epic time!

Food for Four
A family of four can finally sit at the same table to enjoy dinner in a restaurant. Hong Kong has no shortage of dining options that would love your support right now, but how about giving The Pizza Project a try; parents can enjoy a glass of wine (or two) courtesy of the restaurant’s “drinks on us” promotion, so everyone will be happy.

Visit a Museum
With the exception of the HK Science Museum and the HK Space Museum, the other museums managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department are partially open. Opening hours are reduced to 10am to 5pm and numbers are limited, but for those of you who’ve been craving some culture, the HK Heritage Museum, HK Museum of Art and HK Museum of History could be just the ticket. For more information on Hong Kong museums, visit https://www.playtimes.com.hk/a-day-at-the-museum/

Pampered Parents
Things haven’t been easy of late, and most of us are feeling the pressure so why not visit a spa to help massage those tensions away? Sense of Touch is a great option if you want to take the kids, they have a children’s menu, while if you want to escape the little ones – splash out with a One Day Wellness Escape at the Asaya at the Rosewood Hong Kon

Thrilling Rides
When it comes to family activities in Hong Kong, Ocean Park has to be included in any list. At long last our two theme parks, Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park, are expected to open by the end of this week. Bookings can be made in advance online, and be sure to check the websites for all requirements

Cool off on the Ice
Take the whole family skating this weekend. There are many Ice skating rinks in Hong kong, check out The Rink at the Elements or Mega Ice in Kowloon Bay or CityPlaza In Taikoo Shing for a fun filled day out for everyone all.

Take A Dip
Get those trunks on, pack the sunscreen, and get ready to dive back into the swimming pool! Check out our guide to all the public swimming pools in Hong Kong.

Reach for the Sky
Verm City is open business as usual, and has climbing options for all ages and levels. Whether you choose to ‘Clip N Climb’ or to tackle one of the more complex rock climbing walls, it’ll be a fun challenge! Bookings can be made online or walk in and masks are required at all times. Check their website for age restrictions.

Bowl a strike
Get down to Tikitiki bowling for a fun day out with the family. Kids will love the neon lights, over the top decor, and fun music. Drinks, and food can be bought directly to your bowling lane while you practice your aim!
