Ocean Park Halloween Fest 2024 invites thrill-seekers to explore the eerie “Horrors of the Hidden City” from September 7 to November 3. This year’s event features six haunted houses, including the chilling Dreadful Walled City and the mysterious Prison Escape. ‘Hansel and Gretel’s Sweet Escape’ at Island Shangri La
This Halloween, Island Shangri-La invites brave adventurers to embark on a magical journey with ‘Hansel and Gretel’s Sweet Escape’. Between 25-31 October, young explorers are tasked with outsmarting the Wicked Witch in a race against time, packed with scavenger hunts, candy-filled games like Candy Toss and Gumball Mini Golf, and creative workshops. With every completed challenge, participants get one step closer to unlocking the Sweet Treasure Chest, promising fun, treats, and unforgettable memories for the entire family. Visitors can also enjoy an immersive theatre experience as the classic fairytale of Hansel and Gretel comes to life. Led by the Witch herself, the tale unfolds through theatre and music, drawing children into a magical adventure full of suspense, excitement, and enchantment.
And don’t miss the infamous ‘Wicked Witch’s Best Dressed Contest,’ which is back for its fourth year and promises to be more spectacular than ever. Taking place on 27 October in the Lobby Lounge, this costume extravaganza invites families to showcase their spookiest attire – whether you’re a witch, goblin, or ghoul, creativity is encouraged. For $880, families (2 adults and 2 children) can enter the contest, which includes a goodie bag, professional photos, and a variety of snacks and drinks. The competition’s grand prize is a personalised 1-night stay in the hotel’s themed Airship Voyage Family Suite, valued at HK$60,000.
