
Children can learn how to grow their own food through a series of hands-on activities like planting seeds and potting at this urban farming workshop on 7 September. Learn about the seasonality of vegetables, composting, and learn how to make natural pesticides and fertilisers. Encourage your child to connect with nature, get dirty and have fun with insects. Running 4:00pm-5:30pm, $300 for one child and one adult, $500 for two children and two adults. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Funds raised go to Rooftop Republic Foundation, which focuses on providing education and creating awareness of the importance of food and sustainability.
